Angela is an award-winning screenwriter working across both drama and comedy. Her original television series NIGHT SHIFT is being developed by Clelia Mountford (BAD SISTERS) with Sunburnt Penguin in the UK.
Her recent credits include writing an episode on season 2 of the 2024 crime drama TROPPO for EQ Media and Amazon Studios, and two episodes on the drama series IRREVERENT for Matchbox Pictures, NBC Universal and Netflix. In 2022, her episode of THE PM’S DAUGHTER (Fremantle/ABC) was nominated for an AWGIE Award.
Prior to that, Angela was part of the core writing team for the Easy Tiger/Channel 9 drama DOCTOR DOCTOR, writing multiple episodes across its five seasons. During its run, DOCTOR DOCTOR became Australia’s highest rating primetime drama, also airing globally under its international title THE HEART GUY.
A graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in 2015, Angela was the recipient of the Award for Academic Excellence in Screenwriting. That year, she was also the winner of the annual AFTRS TV Series Pitching Competition, and was invited into the Australian Writers’ Guild Pathways Program for Emerging writers.
More recently, Angela was the winner of the AACTA Pitch: Elevate competition for her original comedy series THE DEPARTMENT OF LAST REQUESTS. She is currently developing the series, along with several other original projects.
